• Cantera Lacilla S.L. operates a limestone quarry in Spain, producing construction raw materials and aggregates for concrete production.

• To enable analysis and control of the digital mass flow, ten machines were retrofitted with abaut hardware and connected to the abaut platform, SiteView OS: five hydraulic excavators, three-wheel loaders, and two dumpers.

• For effective quality control and focused extraction in areas with high mineral concentration, precise geophysical knowledge of the raw material quality per blast field, combined with mass flow management is crucial.

• Based on second-by-second activity data from each machine, abaut continuously analyzes material flows and varying loading points. The results are visualized in the “Performance & Mass Flow” application.

• Maintaining consistent aggregate quality is only possible through continuous monitoring and control of the mass flow.
